A seasoned Chief Creative Officer and design leader with 28 years of experience, I specialize in the intersection of experience design, brand building, and emerging technologies. Over the past several years, I have focused heavily on the startup and high-growth sector, leading organizations from "zero to one" and scaling modern creative collectives. I thrive in complex environments, bringing deep expertise across Travel & Hospitality, Automotive, Finance, Insurance, and Sports & Entertainment.
Currently, I serve as a Fractional Chief Creative Officer and Design Consultant under my own practice, Me & My Friends. Functioning as a "zero-ramp-up" leadership resource, I provide high-level brand strategy, experience design, and creative direction for Fortune 500 and emerging growth companies. I remain hands-on in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (including Generative AI) to personally execute visual systems and digital products, partnering directly with executive stakeholders to translate complex business goals into high-impact creative strategies and pitch-ready narratives.
Prior to this, I was the Chief Creative Officer for GlueIQ. Breaking the mold of the traditional agency, I helped scale the organization from three people to over 70, reaching ~$14M USD in annual billings while overseeing global campaigns and product design for brands like Stellantis (Dodge), Royal Bank of Canada, Neiman Marcus, and Disney.
Before GlueIQ, I served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Buckle, a groundbreaking fintech/insurtech startup. We disrupted the shared economy by pioneering financial products and services for gig-economy drivers. As the first full-time employee, I architected the brand and product ecosystem from the ground up, directly contributing to $91 million in Series A and B funding.
My foundation in executive leadership was forged in the enterprise and global agency sectors. Recruited by a private equity firm as Chief Creative Officer of PureRed, I modernized their legacy model by integrating digital capabilities and experience design across a team of 100+ creatives nationwide.
Before that, I spent 11 years at Sapient (SapientNitro / SapientRazorfish), ascending to Group Vice President and Head of Experience for North America. During this tenure, I directed the multidisciplinary teams that pioneered the Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine interface, relaunched NASCAR.com, and revitalized Unilever’s AXE brand across Europe as the head of creative for the London office.
Throughout my career, I have been honored with industry recognition including Clio, Cannes Lions, ECHO, AdTech, and CASIE awards. I have also had the privilege of judging the Cannes Young Lions and delivering keynote addresses at SXSW and India's Kyoorius Designyatra.
Whether I am architecting a global design system, navigating a complex brand turnaround, or analyzing the nuances of my golf swing to maintain a scratch handicap, I approach every challenge with the same philosophy: innovation requires execution, and mastery requires relentless focus.
